I don’t have a lot of acne, only on my forehead, and I can’t say its really bad because its not. But it does bother me. I don’t break out a lot and when I do its only one spot, but that one gets really red and hurts a lot and than it scabs. So I have a lot of scars from them, and I want to get rid of them. My acne treatment is Patricia Wexler MD Dermatology Acne spot treatment, it has 10% benozyl peroxide and I think it’s sulfur based. When putting lotion after I apply it, it’s hard to put it on since it has these tiny beads.

I’m in my early teens and have severe acne on my face, chest, back, shoulders, back shoulders, neck, and under my chin. I have very oily and sensitive skin. I’ve tried Proactive and Clearasil and both did nothing but dry out my skin. I am in serious need of an effective acne treatment. Please help!

I’ve heard Accutane is the closest to a cure for acne. My acne isn’t severe enough for accutane, but its quite bad and I feel I need something powerful and effective.
